The Citadel of Holiness Church is an assembly of believers who serve a holy God by serving this present age through discipleship, education, and empowerment. We exist to support individuals in finding their life's purpose by finding Christ as their personal Savior, providing a grace-filled environment that cultivates believers into the fullness of their calling in God.

Pentecostal by Experience. Holiness by Lifestyle. Apostolic by Doctrine.

Prayer is at the heart of our community. We gather each week for in-person prayer to seek God together, encourage one another, and grow in our faith.

Throughout the week, we stay connected through intentional communication, helping one another grow in Christ and stay engaged in the life of the church.

As The Citadel grows, our commitment remains the same: to build a church where people are known, cared for, equipped, and actively involved in

the mission of Christ.

Join us for our virtual bi-monthly Bible Study, designed to study Scripture, ask questions, strengthen our faith, and release the things that keep us from growing into the fullness of our calling.

He began his faith journey at a young age, becoming the first person in his household to accept Christ. After being introduced to Jesus while in the third grade, he developed a deep desire to grow spiritually and became involved in the church. By age 15, he was preaching in a storefront church, later becoming an ordained elder at 19 and being consecrated as a bishop in his early twenties.

His ministry experience spans both small churches and larger organizations, including leadership responsibilities connected to 16 churches. He also brings a strong academic background to his ministry, holding a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Care Management, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate in Theology from North Carolina Theological Seminary, where he has also served as a seminary professor.

Beyond the pulpit, his experiences in higher education, HBCU culture, leadership, and ministry have shaped an approach that connects faith with everyday life. With nearly two decades of consistent preaching and ministry experience, he describes himself as “young enough for the culture, but seasoned enough in the Word.”
